The Wisconsin Badgers volleyball team is set to play their second Power Five team in as many matches as they welcome in the Miami Hurricanes on Friday. The Hurricanes are 4-1 and looking to upset the No. 1 ranked Badgers, coming off another sweep of the Arizona Wildcats.

The last time the Hurricanes met the Wisconsin Badgers was all the way back in 2014. The Badgers swept the Hurricanes.

Sarah Franklin is just 11 kills shy of 1,000 career kills. If she continues her nine-match streak of double-digit kills, she’ll likely find herself in that club by the end of the evening.

Izzy Ashburn remains two aces away from tying Margie Kaminski (1984-87) for the all-time lead.
The Badgers kept their hold on the top hitting percentage in the Big Ten with .322 after their win over the Wildcats. They’re also No. 10 in all of Division I. Carter Booth moved to first in the Big Ten in hitting percentage with an impressive .519. The Badgers have three players in the top 10 for hitting percentage.
Their serving game was on point in their match against the Wildcats, but on the season it could be better with a 1.39 aces per set. That puts the Badgers 9th in the Big Ten.
Hurricanes to Watch
Abby Casiano brings a .443 hitting percentage into the match with the Badgers. The Hurricanes are number 24 in Division I in terms of hitting percentage with a solid .293.
The Hurricanes bring a defense that can rival the Badgers with 13.05 digs per set. Setter Savannah Vach brings an impressive 40 digs to the table for the Hurricanes.
