The Wisconsin Badgers have steadied the ship after losing three straight in December, huge thanks to the Steven Crowl consistent quality games.
Coach Greg Gard recently entered Top 25 of Associated Press’ poll ranking by getting to the 24th spot and they could climb higher if they will continue their streak.
The Badgers have won five straight games, four of them by double digits.
They meet next the Ohio State Buckeyes who lost by just two points to Big Ten no. 4 team Oregon by just two points.
The Buckeyes carry a 10-6 record but Crowl is not getting fooled by those numbers as he believes that their upcoming opponents got enough arsenal to keep up with any teams.
“Their pace of play is a little bit higher than they get credit for,” he said.
“They’ve got a complete team. They’ve got good guards, athletic bags, like I just said they always play hard. They’re one of those teams that can beat you on any night so just go in and prepared the big for us.”
Steven Crowl’s steady play will be huge against Ohio State
The Buckeyes are a threat and so, they will need another big game from Crowl who scored 18 points in their last game.
The graduating student received praises from fans, critics, and even his coach Greg Gard for his display in the last five games.
“He understands how good he can be when he’s aggressive,” Gard said.
“I think the rotational shift and getting him in and out in shorter spurts has helped. But he’s also just been assertive and dominant in his own way. It’s great to see.”
