The Wisconsin Badgers are looking to keep their winning streak alive in BIG10 conference play against the Ohio State Buckeyes on Tuesday night. The tip-off for this matchup will be at 8 p.m. CT on Peacock.
This season, Wisconsin has a 13-3 overall record and a 3-2 record in BIG10 conference play. As for Ohio State, they have a 10-6 overall record and a 2-3 record in conference play.
Players To Watch For On the Wisconsin Badgers Against the Ohio State Buckeyes
The last time that head coach Greg Gard’s team played was on Friday night 1/10 against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Three players scored in double figures for the Wisconsin Badgers in that contest. Wisconsin is now ranked 24th in the country after winning its last three games in conference play.
Steven Crowl led the way for the Badgers against the Golden Gophers with 18 points, five rebounds, and three assists. John Tonje scored 16 points for Wisconsin and Kamari McGee also added 15 points. Nolan Winter and John Blackwell will be two other players to watch for on the Wisconsin Badgers.
Players To Watch For On Ohio State
Jake Diebler is the head coach of the Buckeyes this season. They last played on Thursday, 1/9, against the Oregon Ducks and almost pulled off the upset and lost 73-71. Ohio State had four players score in double figures.
Bruce Thornton led the team with 20 points. John Mobley Jr. scored 16 points, Sean Stewart scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds, and Micah Parrish also scored 11 points, grabbed one rebound, and recorded two assists.
The Buckeyes despite their record have guards on this team who are difficult to defend. The Badgers’ defense will need to be on point against them. Wisconsin is favored against Ohio State, but the Wisconsin Badgers will be tested at home against the Ohio State Buckeyes.
