The Wisconsin Badgers traveled not far from home to the state of Ohio recently. The football staff has slowed down the last few days with the major offers. However, one particular recruit from Ohio has caught the eye of scouts and staff alike. The Badgers refused to leave the state without offering Bo Jackson, a 2025 four-star recruit.
Wisconsin Badgers Offer 2025 Running Back Bo Jackson
Reading the name alone can be rather deceiving, given the history behind it. In football in particular, having the same name as a legend of the sport can carry quite the expectations with them. However, Bo Jackson from Ohio is a two-sport athlete himself also playing baseball during the spring. Jackson will not be defined by the people he shares his name with, but rather by his own ability.
The six-foot-one-inch, 190-pound safety and running back has all the versatility needed. Currently, Jackson is listed as an athlete on the 247 Sports website. He ranks as the sixth overall athlete in the 2025 class as well as the second-ranked player in Ohio. Jackson is also a top 100-ranked recruit, coming in at 80th in the class with two seasons to go. Jackson has been given a rating of 90, which gives him plenty of time to develop into a potential five-star recruit.
After a great conversation with @CoachSpalding_ I am very humbled and thankful to announce I received an offer to play football for University of Wisconsin @BadgerFootball w/@CoachFick @CoachMikeTress @JRotsky @VASJFootball pic.twitter.com/YjvnfZ0hzF

Jackson is naturally a running back given his speed and field vision. However, he also plays safety at a very high level. Jackson constantly has his head on a swivel in his highlight tape from the 2022 season. His instincts and ability are put on display, especially during a 95-yard touchdown, where Jackson flew past defenders who had the angle on him. No matter how close you get to him, there is a very good chance he will not go down.
Recruiting for the 2025 class has begun to ramp up in the last few weeks. The majority of 2025 recruits with offers are seeing more come in following the completion of their seasons. Now, Wisconsin will have to turn their attention towards establishing contact and offers with the players on their radar. Realistically, the 2025 class is still a massive question mark for every program. However, a few big commitments down the road, particularly from Bo Jackson, could give Wisconsin another solid class.
