Four former Wisconsin Badgers volleyball players are continuing to make their mark in the sport following their departures from UW-Madison as they were recently selected to participate in the 2025 VNL (Volleyball Nations League).
What/when is the Volleyball Nations League?

The VNL is a competition where national teams from around compete against one another. Matches will take place in various places including China, Canada, Brazil, Serbia, and Turkiye. Games will be played starting June 3 and will be played throughout the remainder of the month. The full VNL schedule can be found here.

Representing the Badgers in the 2025 VNL will be four former players. On Team USA will be middle Dana Rettke and outside hitter Sarah Franklin. In Poland, Julie Orzol will be on the team. Lastly, in Canada Anna Smrek will be representing her country.
