The Wisconsin Badgers continue to climb up the AP Polls this season. Last week, they were ranked 11th and this week they are now ranked sixth in the country. Wisconsin is one of the best teams in college basketball this season and they are in line at the current moment for a number two seed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
The Badgers had two games over the past week and they took down the Minnesota Golden Gophers on the road (61-59) last Tuesday 1/23 and the Michigan State Spartans this past Friday night (1/26) at home by a final score of 81-66.

Greg Gard’s team is in a very good spot in the conference at the moment. Wisconsin has a 16-4 record and an 8-1 record in BIG 10 Conference play. The Purdue Boiler Makers are right behind them in the standings in conference play at 8-2 and they are also 19-2 overall this season.
Wisconsin will have two games this week against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Thursday, February 1 on the road and also against the #2 Purdue Boiler Makers at home on Sunday, February 4.
At this point, it feels like a long shot to get a one seed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, but who knows what can happen between now and selection Sunday because there have been a lot of upsets this season in college basketball.

AJ Storr has played in 20 games this season for Wisconsin. He is averaging 15.9 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and 1.0 APG.
Steven Crowl has also played in 20 games this season for the Badgers. He is averaging 11.9 PPG, 7.5 RPG, and 2.6 APG.
Tyler Wahl in 20 games this season for the Wisconsin Badgers is averaging 11.5 PPG, 5.5 RPG, and 1.5 APG.
Some of the key players on this basketball team this year have been Max Klesmit, John Blackwell, and Chucky Hepburn.

Let me make some the clear to UW and the over excited fans…the Top 25 polls are “Irrelevant” (meaningless). The only thing that matters is seeding/location for March Madness. It’s time for Badger Nations to stop celebrating the Regular Season, when March is what matters most!

The 2024 Final Four this year is at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The Wisconsin Badgers were last in the Final Four in 2014 and in 2015, when they defeated the unbeaten Kentucky Wildcats before losing to the Duke Blue Devils in the NCAA Championship Game.
