The Wisconsin Badgers keep adding pieces through the transfer portal. After getting a massive offensive line commitment from Cincinnati late last night, Badgers’ fans woke up to more good news this morning. The Wisconsin Badgers have added defensive end Jeff Pietrowski, a transfer from rival Michigan State.

Wisconsin Badgers Add Jeff Pietrowski
The Badgers are losing some key defensive players to the draft. They needed to reload and the transfer portal was the likely place to do it. Pietrowski announced this morning through his Twitter that he has committed to play in Madison next season. Last season he only appeared in three games but his 2021 season was great. He racked up 5.5 sacks and forced 3 fumbles on the season. He looks to be a key piece off the edge for the Badgers’ defense.
Stealing From A Rival
What makes this even better is that Jeff Pietrowski is a transfer from the Michigan State Spartans. This not only bolsters the team but actively hurts a rival. While Michigan State is not the powerhouse it once was in the Big Ten, they are not a team to be counted out. This is yet another win through the transfer portal for Luke Fickell and his staff. The amount of talent that is flooding into Madison is insane. Even though the college football season doesn’t start for months, Badgers’ fans are already getting excited.
The Wisconsin football program got another good one in defensive end, Jeff Pietrowski. Based on other tweets and pieces of news, Luke Fickell and his staff are not done. Stay tuned because this is probably not the last piece of good news we will receive this offseason.
