Players To Watch For On the Wisconsin Badgers Against the Illinois Fighting Illini
Three players scored in double figures against the Marquette Golden Eagles on Saturday for the Wisconsin Badgers. Max Klesmit led the way for Wisconsin with 22 points. John Tonje scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds for the Badgers. John Blackwell also added 17 points for Wisconsin on Saturday.
The offense was effective against Marquette. However, the defense will need to be better against Illinois. Head coach Greg Gard might have one of the most talented teams in the BIG10 Conference this season. They are 0-1 in conference play. They are looking to avoid going 0-2 in conference play after losing to the Michigan Wolverines last week.
Players To Watch For On Illinois
Brad Underwood is the head coach of the Illinois Fighting Illini. They last played against the Northwestern Wildcats on Friday. Three players scored in double figures for Illinois. Kasparas Jakucionis scored 20 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and recorded seven assists against Northwestern on Friday.
Tomislav Ivisic scored 15 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and recorded five assists for Illinois. Will Riley also added 12 points for the Illinois Fighting Illini against the Northwestern Wildcats. It will not be an easy game on the road for the Wisconsin Badgers. They will be fine if they play efficiently on offense and tighten up things on defense.
