There has been a revolving door in Madison lately as potential recruits have been flocking to the state capital to check out the new look program. We’ll be going over who has been in town, what offers have been sent out, who has committed recently, and any cut-down lists the Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting has made.
Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting: Campus Visitors
Denim Cook
Denim Cook is an ATH in the class of 2025. The 6’4″, 215-pound Ohio native is listed as an outside linebacker and already has an impressive offer list. As a sophomore, he wracked up 106 tackles, 43 for loss with four sacks and a pick. It’s scary to think what kind of number he’ll put up as he matures physically. His tape is what you’d expect after seeing those numbers. He reads defenses well and picks his way through blockers to blow plays up. He’s strong enough to stand blockers up and has the athleticism to work well in space. It’ll be interesting to see what position he ends in as he adds weight.
Tyree Alualu
Tyree Alualu was on campus this week and could be the type of under-the-radar prospect that flourishes at Wisconsin. The 6′, 210-pound prospect does it all for his Pennsylvania high school as he plays running back and both linebacker positions. His film shows very natural linebacker instincts both inside and out. He does a great job reading and reacting from the middle while showing the speed and bend to beat blockers around the outside. He may not have the ranking, but he’s a darn good football player and someone I’m glad Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting is targeting.
Terhyon Nichols
Terhyon Nichols is a four-star defensive back out of Ohio. The 6′, 180-pound prospect has the ideal size for the secondary and was on campus this week. His tape shows a corner that is aggressive with his hands and fluid with his hips. He plays off receivers and has enough speed to stick with them in open space.
Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting Commits
Kyan Berry-Johnson
Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting picked up a commitment from three-star receiver Kyan Berry-Johnson this week. Kyan is extremely athletic and uses it all to make up for his 5’10” height. He’s extremely elusive in the open field and has the vertical leap and high-pointing ability you’d expect from a much larger receiver. The Future Badger Twitter account shared a video of some incredible catches during offseason workouts by the Badger commit. Phil Longo has to be elated about this commitment.
Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting Offers
Byron Louis
Byron Lous is a four-star running back out of Florida in the 2025 class. He’s listed at 6′ and 205 pounds. He doesn’t have a sophomore season recap video, but his spring practice film shows great potential. He appears to have good vision with good speed. He has the ideal size for the position and is also used in the passing game.
Dominic Nichols
Dominic Nichols is a 4-star defensive end out of Maryland. The 6’5″, 245-pound menace just finished his junior year and has a list of impressive offers. His film shows great power with enough speed to live in the backfield. It’s easy to envision him adding some weight and being a game wrecker at the next level.
Koy Beasley
Koy Beasley is a 6′, 180-pound defensive back out of Ohio. The three-star class-of-2024 talent was offered by Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting earlier in the week. He finished his junior season with 40 tackles, five pass breakups, and a pick on defense while wracking up 880 all-purpose yards on offense. His tape shows a player with impressive speed and great athleticism. It’ll be interesting to see which side of the ball he ends up on. He looks raw as both a receiver and safety but has the physical abilities to develop well as either.
Michael Roeske
Michael visited campus earlier in the month and finally received an offer a couple of weeks later. The 6’8″, 285-pound Wisconsin native played offense and defense during his sophomore season. His film shows a raw player, but the physical tools are there. He has the power to play on the defensive line and overall size to protect the quarterback. His junior season development will be intriguing, as a big jump in technique should be expected.
Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting Cut-Down Lists
Kahmir Prescott
The Badgers made the top-five class-of-2024 athlete Kahmir Prescott out of Pennsylvania an offer. The Badgers are joined by Michigan State, Nebraska, Pitt, and Penn State. The three-star was offered in February and would be another exciting addition to an already impressive class.

Wisconsin Badgers Football Transfer News
Markevious Brown
Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting offered Markevious Brown, who is on the move after spending his first two seasons at Ole Miss. The former four-star cornerback showed promise last season as a sophomore and would be a good addition to a team needing secondary help.
Antonio Carter
Antonio Carter is a grad transfer from Rhode Island. He has 17 passes defended over the last two seasons and 105 tackles. With two years of eligibility left, he would be a great experience option for a young Badgers secondary.
That’s it for this week, as this will probably be the standard format moving forward. With players constantly on the move and Wisconsin Badgers Football Recruiting for the 2024 class in full swing, many players are coming to town, leaving us with a lot of film to breakdown.
