Aden Reeder has a scheduled official visit to the Wisconsin Badgers facility from June 5 to June 8 but he did not wait for that to announce his commitment to the team.
The 3-star linebacker from St. Xavier Bombers posted a 25-second video on X to confirm that he will play for the Wisconsin Badgers in the 2026 season. The clip features University of Wisconsin-Madison and Badgers fans.

Reeder, who stands at 6’3 and weighs 210 pounds, is the 13th player that the team recruited out of Ohio.
Badgers beat 16 other programs vying for his signature, including major Big Ten schools. Among them are Iowa Hawkeyes, Minnesota Golden Gophers, Boston College Eagles, Maryland Terrapins, Michigan State Spartans, and Bowling Green Falcons.
Several analysts and reporters are high on the potential of Reeder who had 72 tackles, three sacks, three forced fumbles and three pass break ups last season.
Wisconsin with a great get at linebacker in three-star Aden Reeder. Fast and physical defender that can get downhill. https://t.co/oKEEO4jujR

Wisconsin Badgers’ 2026 Class getting formidable
Reeder will be the first linebacker to commit to head coach Luke Fickell for 2026. He will join six other players who were put under intense recruitment effort by specialized coaches of the team.
The first Badgers 2026 commitment was Benjamin Novak who announced it in October last year.
Tayshon Bardo, the very active and excited future Badger wide receiver, followed him by March. Cornerback Carsen Eloms announced his commitment on April 8.

The fifth commitment was from quarterback Ryan Hopkins, followed by defensive lineman Carmelow Reed who committed on April 20.
The last one before Reeder was offensive tackle Maddox Crochane.
