The Wisconsin Badgers are not in a bowl game this season because they finished with a 5-7 record during the 2024 college football season. Because of this, Wisconsin is currently trying to find players in the transfer portal for the 2025 college football season.
One of the players who was interested in Wisconsin is former Tulane Green Wave defensive lineman Parker Petersen. During his junior season with Tulane, he recorded 21 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery.
Parker Petersen Commits To the Wisconsin Badgers
On Sunday morning, Peterson committed to play football next season with Wisconsin. He is 6’4″ and weighs 301 lbs. This is a good addition to the Badgers football program. They needed help on the defensive line and he is originally from Nashville, Tennessee.
It’s going to be intriguing to see how much of an impact he will have with the Badgers next season. This was the best year that Petersen had in college football with Tulane before leaving the program.

This will not be the last time that the Wisconsin Badgers will be hitting the portal this offseason by landing Parker Petersen. The position that all Wisconsin fans are looking forward to is the quarterback position. Head coach Luke Fickell needs to find a starting quarterback for the 2025 season. That will make or break his time with Wisconsin.
