The Wisconsin Badgers are making recruitment pitches and trips that they have not made in quite some time. At least it seems that way thanks to how much Luke Fickell, his coaching staff, and recruits utilize social media these days. It is a great thing they do, at least for fans, as it helps us stay excited for the teams outside of football season. One five-star wide receiver, Jamie Ffrench Jr., gave Wisconsin fans a great deal to be excited about when he posted this on Twitter:

Earlier this month, the Badgers were able to secure a commitment from USC transfer CJ Williams. A former four-star recruit, Williams is the highest-rated wide receiver ever recruited to Wisconsin. Williams himself, though, stated that he does not believe that he will be the highest-rated receiver in program history for long. Coach Fickell and offensive coordinator Phil Longo have created a great deal of excitement surrounding their future offense.
Jamie Ffrench Will Probably not Commit to the Badgers for a While
Five-star wide receiver Jamie Ffrench is just a sophomore in high school, meaning that he has time to make a decision on where he will play college football. That being said, Ffrench has already received offers from 25 Division I programs. These include:
- Alabama
- Georgia
- Notre Dame
- Ohio State
- Penn State
- Michigan
- Pittsburgh
The offer from Pitt is noteworthy because Ffrench’s brother, Maurice Ffrench, had their single-season record for receptions (96) when he graduated in 2019.
Jamie Ffrench Profile
- Height: 6 foot 1 inch
- 175 pounds
- Mandarin High School
- Jacksonville, Florida
- Class of 2025
