Badgers Record Through 5 Games
The Badgers through 5 games have a record of (2-3, 0-2) in BIG play. Wisconsin has lost back to back games against Ohio State and Illinois. The former Badgers head coach Paul Chryst continued the power run game offense that Wisconsin has lived by for decades. Unfortunately, Chryst was not been able to deliver and help the Badgers win football games to start the 2022 season.
Paul Chryst led the Badgers to a 67-26 overall record. In conference play, he held a record of 43-18, and 6-1 in bowl games. He also brought Wisconsin 3 West Division titles during his tenure.
Badgers DC Jim Leonhard Named Interim HC
Lots of fans want Leonhard as the next head coach at Wisconsin. Not only are Badgers fans confident, but the new interim head man is as well.
"I feel like I can take this opportunity and help this place grow. That’s why I came back a number of years ago. It’s why I haven’t left.” – Jim Leonhard #Badgers

Leonhard has been apart of the coaching staff for six seasons on the defensive side of the ball. He was the defensive backs coach in 2016, and has been with the program ever since.
Knowing that he has a background with the team, it certainly puts him in the drivers seat for future success. Leonhard could bring back former assistants to help move things along, but being put into a bigger position could come at a slow pace to start until the pieces come together.
Recent News About Jim Leonhard
Social media is talking about some of the rumblings and rumors regarding the new interim head coach Jim Leonhard.
Not a shocker, but from everything I'm hearing, I'd be really surprised if Jim Leonhard is not the next (permeant) head coach at Wisconsin. #Badgers
