Wisconsin Badgers football already have one defensive lineman for Class of 2026 and they might soon add another one based on how Arthur Scott describes his short time with the program.
The Streetsboro standout was among those present in the spring showcase by the Badgers and was evaluated closely by the team.
He was visited by Wisconsin defensive line coach E.J. Whitlow in his high school way back and they kept in touch.
Scott said he was not really hopeful that they will come back to express interest. Things turned out differently.
“I don’t have that many offers, so I thought they just wanted to get eyes on me, but coach Whitlow told my coach that he really liked me,” Scott told Badger247’s Evan Flood.
“He didn’t know I was as big as I was and really wanted to get me up for a spring practice.”
How does he feel about the Badgers now? The program and fans have something to cheer for.

“If I got an offer from Wisconsin, I would highly consider them.”
Of course, it will all depend if he will meet the standards set by head coach Luke Fickell and the rest of the coaching staff.
