The Wisconsin Badgers have landed Miami Hurricanes transfer cornerback D’Yoni Hill. He was a standout at Marshall before transferring to Miami.
The 6-foot corner and Gainesville, FL native produced 55 tackles, 10 pass deflections, and one interception during the 2023 season. He reunited with cornerbacks coach Chevis Jackson and defensive coordinator Lance Guidry in Miami the upcoming season.
Hill’s playtime and commitment to Miami
He chose Miami over Missouri, Indiana, and Cincinnati. Hill took an official visit with the other schools.
Hill started five games for Miami this season. He also had 27 tackles, one tackle for a loss, and one pass deflection.
Hill’s playtime at Marshall
Marshall defensive back entered the portal on April 15th, 2024. He played in 10 games in 2022.
Hill is a physical defender who can cover and had 10 pass break ups in 671 snaps in the Sun Belt last season.
