The Wisconsin Badgers are in the running to land 2026 Running Back Amari Latimer as he nears his decision. Four other big-time schools also are making him feel like a priority in recruiting.
Badgers previously landed his brother Geimere Latimer out of the transfer portal earlier this offseason. This would be a huge RB land for Wisconsin.
Amari’s statistics at Sandy Creek
Latimer blew up onto the scene with a great sophomore campaign: he rushed for 1,400 yards and 17 touchdowns. He carried the football 136 times for 1,113 yards this past season. He is a 4-star recruit out of Sandy Creek.
Amari is one of the biggest names at RB in the class of 2026 right now. He also played hoops at Sandy Creek.

He has an immediate burst through the hole with elite vision and balance. He is a powerful runner who runs through arm tackles, too.
He is versatile, and a good receiver out of the backfield. He is very patient with the ability to make the first guy miss.
