Will Pauling Career Profile
The three-star prospect out of Homewood Flossmoor High School in Flossmoor, Illinois committed to Cincinnati back in 2021. However, Pauling didn’t see the field much in his freshman year as he caught just one ball for six yards. Last year for the Bearcats, Pauling didn’t see too much additional playing time as he caught 12 passes for 122 yards. Pauling would play in Cincy’s final game of this past season, where the Bearcats are throttled 24-7 by Louisville in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl, however, Pauling would only catch 1 ball for 10 yards against the Cardinals, in what would be his final game for the school.
Badgers Updated Transfer Portal Moves
Pauling becomes the third transfer portal addition of the day for Fickell and co. as the new regime added Mississippi State transfer QB, Braedyn Locke as well as former All-American K, Nathaniel Vakos, who transferred in from Ohio, earlier today (Jan. 10). Pauling joins former Bearcats teammates, Joe Huber (OL), and Jake Renfro (C), to follow Fickell to the Badgers.
Here’s what Fickell and his staff had added in the transfer portal, thus far:
- Braedyn Locke (Mississippi State): Quarterback
- Nick Evers (Oklahoma): Quarterback
- Tanner Mordecai (SMU): Quarterback
- Will Pauling (Cincinnati): Wide Receiver
- Jake Renfro (Cincinnati): Center
- Joe Huber (Cincinnati): Offensive Lineman
- Darian Varner (Temple): Defensive End
- Jeff Pietrowski (Michigan State): Defensive End
- Jason Maitre (Boston College): Defensive Back
- Nathanial Vakos (Ohio): Kicker
