Behind every great man, there is a greater woman. Lauren Holiday wife of Jrue Holiday, is that great woman. Today, Lauren was surprised with the news that she will be inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2023. Winning some of the biggest championships almost assured Holiday would eventually make the Hall of Fame.
Jrue and Lauren's family had the opportunity to surprise her today & share that Lauren has officially been named to the 2023 @soccerhof class.

Winning at the Highest Level
From NSCAA Freshman of the Year to U.S Soccer Female Athlete of the Year, each great player will let you know, team success means the most to them. Lauren Holiday has achieved the ultimate team success winning two gold medals with Team USA. Additionally, Holiday was part of the USWNT that won the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2015. Following the 2015 Women’s World Cup, Holiday announced her retirement.
Life Beyond Soccer
For many professional athletes, life beyond their sport can be tough. Lauren Holiday’s post playing career has been scarier than most. Following her retirement Holiday’s suffered a brain tumor while pregnant. This shocking development caused Jrue to make a selfless decision and put his career on hold to care for his wife and new baby girl. Lauren had her brain tumor removed post delivery and has made a full recovery.
Jrue and Lauren Holiday continue to be selfless and support the community through numerous charitable contributions.
