Where Bucks Stand With 10 Games Left

With the NBA season winding down and the playoffs starting to come into view, the Bucks find themselves right in the middle of a heated race in the East. Today we’re gonna look at the Bucks remaining schedule and some tough matchups in the last 10 games. We’re also gonna be looking at the standings and how the Bucks can slide into the two or maybe the one seed.

    Bucks Remaining Schedule

Milwaukee’s schedule is about as close to a cakewalk as one can get. After last night’s win against Chicago. They’ll then come back home for 2 pivotal games against Eastern Conference-leading Nets. Those two games will be absolutely huge on whether or not the Bucks land a top 2 seed in the East. Games against Washington and Houston will follow at home. The Bucks will then close with the Spurs, Magic, Pacers, Heat, and the Bulls to end the season. That’s a very favorable schedule down the stretch that we need to take advantage of. The only tough matchups down the stretch would be against Brooklyn and Miami, but the Bucks have proven they can hang with Brooklyn and beat Miami. If the Bucks can play well in this home stretch they can put themselves in a spot for the 1 or 2 seed in the east.

    Seeding Scenarios

After Milwaukee knocked off the Bulls on Friday, the Bucks currently sit 3.5 games behind the 1 seed. The Sixers currently stay 3 games ahead of Milwaukee. While the Bucks are still in the race for the 1 and 2 seed, they have a lot of ground to make up. They sit 4 games ahead of New York, who sits in the 4 seed. The most realistic possibility at this point in time is the Bucks staying put in the 3 seed. If the Bucks do get hot, and the Sixers start to drop some games, they can get into a tie or pass the Sixers in the standings. The Bucks own the tie-breaker with Philly, which will be huge if that decides home-court in a potential second-round playoff series.

    Conclusion

In conclusion, Milwaukee has a really good chance to edge closer to the Sixers in the standings with a very favorable schedule to end the season. They’re still hopefully primed for a top 3 seed in the playoffs again this year and seemed primed for another deep playoff run.
