What’s Packing for the Green Bay Packers next season?

The remainder of the NFL season and post-season doesn’t look so bright for the Green Bay Packers. With only a few games remaining, discussions are happening at large about what fans wish to see in the upcoming 2023 season. Here we will discuss one of the largest anticipations for the future of the Packers.

What’s Packing for the Packers next season?

Speculating about the next season is a well-loved activity for new and amateur fans alike. Not only is it a great motivator to read up more on a sport you love, but it is also a fun game to do with family and friends.

Learning to master NFL Picks And Predictions In Betting

Making predictions and having hopes for the next season is not just a challenge for avid watchers, but also a challenge for those interested in betting. When it comes to laying bets on sports, especially injury-prone sports such as football, research and news-reading are crucial before going onto sites such as betJACK.com. Factors to take into account for football betting include injuries, previous results, seasonal form, as well as potential news that might affect player mentality such as a local hurricane, for both the team you support and its opponents.

Who’s quarterbacking for the Packers next year?

One of the biggest discussions for the Green Bay Packers team this year has been about the quarterback position. The team has been led by back-to-back league MVP-winner Aaron Rodgers for quite some time, but this season’s injuries and underwhelming team performance have cast a shadow over the leadership, according to some.

After a hit to Rodges’ ribs in the game against the Philadelphia Eagles, reserve quarterback Jordan Love got his time in the sun. Following a positive performance, opinions are multiplying as to letting “Love light the way” for the Packers next season. Some make the same claim for the end of the 2022 season as well as news of Rodger’s broken thumb was released.

Love showing promise and perceptive skills

The 24-year-old Jordan Love was drafted in the first round by the Packers back in 2020 out of a successful career at Utah State. Since he joined the green ranks, Love has played in a total of nine games: six in the 2021 season and three in the 2022 season. During his coverage for injured Rodgers, Love hit Christian Watson for a 63-yard touchdown pass on his first drive.

He has also been praised for how well he has curated his apprenticeship with Rodgers, and some even see adaptations in techniques for his form to match that of the senior quarterback.

    Rodgers is insistent on playing

Despite Love showing great promise, and many wondering if he’s not already primed for taking over the role as starting quarterback, the main resistance seems to be coming from his predecessor. Rodgers, who has spent 18 years with the Green Bay Packers, seems unwilling to stop playing, which has shown during his continued field time while having a fractured thumb this season.

However, when confronted with the question of the relationship between him and his apprentice, Rodgers has consistently said that there is no animosity and that he loves to see Jordan Love develop his skills. On the question of who will quarterback in the future, Rodgers has commented that he will approach the conversation with an open mind but hopes that the conversation won’t be necessary.

    Who’s the competition?

The Packers aren’t the only NFL team that seems to have a big quarterback decision to make. In 2020, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers managed to recruit seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady out of retirement. Since his return from his short-lasting retirement, many speculations form every year about whether or not he will return next season, especially given that he is the oldest quarterback at 45 years old. Brady has repeatedly said he’s taking it season by season, but in case he’s not coming back in 2023 – who will take his place, and therefore pose the next threat to the Packers?
