The Milwaukee Brewers and Willy Adames sure weren’t deterred by the storms in Minnesota on Tuesday night. With the bullpen they have waiting in the late innings, if the Brewers can get a lead, there’s never much to worry about.
Andrew McCutchen and Willy Adames each hit a two-run homer vs the Minnesota Twins. Those helped the Brewers outlast three rain delays to beat the Twins 6-3. It was the opener of a brief border-state series between the first-place teams. However this home run blast by Willy Adames turned heads:

The win Brewers moved to 49-39 on the season and will play the Twins again on Wednesday at 12:10PM CT. The short two game stint is the first of their two series against each other this year. The next series will take place in Milwaukee on July 26th and 27th.
