It was another NBA night for the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday as they hosted the Chicago Bulls in the Fiserv Forum. It was anything but an ordinary evening for rookie Andre Jackson Jr., though, with the young man celebrating his 22nd birthday.
Milwaukee Bucks Celebrate Andre Jackson Jr.’s Birthday

The Bucks made sure to make Jackson’s day extra special. Milwaukee sent out a special greeting for the 6-foot-6 shooting guard on Twitter:
Happy birthday, Andre! pic.twitter.com/DxskHdmrXh

As for his teammates, they treated Andre with their own rendition of the Happy Birthday Song during practice:

Andre Jackson Jr. Gets His UConn Championship Ring

The Bucks weren’t done, though. Just before Monday’s game against the Bulls started, they had Jackson take center court to present him with his NCAA championship ring with UConn from last season:

What a moment for the young man. He even had veteran teammates Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis present him with his new piece of jewelry.
Jackson was an integral part of the Huskies’ title run last season. As a junior, he averaged 6.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in 29.1 minutes per game for UConn.
Instead of playing out his senior year in the NCAA, Jackson opted to take his talents to the NBA, where he was selected 36th overall by the Bucks in the 2023 NBA Draft.

Jackson could be in store for minutes for Milwaukee in the immediate future with Jae Crowder recently being ruled out for eight weeks. Coach Adrian Griffin hinted at a bigger role for the rookie, and it’s now up to Jackson to take advantage of the opportunity ahead of him.
