Jordan Love makes a crucial play in the fourth quarter
The Green Bay Packers needed a spark in the fourth quarter. Trailing 37-23 in the fourth quarter, Jordan Love delivered. Love replaced starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers after he went down with an injury. Love, on his first drive of the game, hit rookie wide receiver Christian Watson for a 63-yard touchdown to close the gap to 37-30.
Here’s a video of the play by a tweet from Andy Herman. He called Love “the future”.

The future needs a little luck to go his way. The Packers need to hold the explosive Eagles offense to give Love a chance to tie the game. Whatever the outcome, Packers fans must be excited to see the connection between Love and the rookie Watson.
It could be a lethal combination for the Packers when Rodgers is no longer the number one quarterback on the Packers’ depth chart. With the Packers’ current roster, that could be sooner than later.
