The Packers and Pro-Bowl CB Jaire Alexander are finalizing a 4-year, $84 million contract extension, per source. The deal includes $31 million in 2022 – a Defensive Back record of $30 million in signing bonus. Alexander will receive $42.5M by March. That massive deal, however, doesn’t stop him from making bets that doesn’t involve money. According to Matt Schneidman, Jaire Alexander made a deal with him regarding college football.
Jaire Alexander Loses a bet to Matt Schneidman:
Jaire Alexander bet me 20 push-ups on Syracuse-Louisville last week. Syracuse dog walked them 31-7 on Saturday. Saw me on his way back in from Packers picture day and immediately dropped down. Man of his word.

In case you aren’t up to date on colleges, Jaire Alexander was drafted out of the University of Louisville. Matt Schneidman graduated from the University of Syracuse. They just happened to play each other for the opening week of college football. The result was rough:

It was great to see Jaire honor the bet and drop down on the spot to give his owed push-ups. This is the kind of off the field content you love to see in locker rooms.
