The Milwaukee Bucks fell to the Philadelphia 76ers by the score of 110-102 on Friday night. A major reason for this loss was Giannis Antetokounmpo’s poor free throw shooting. Despite scoring 25 points and grabbing 14 rebounds, Giannis was just 4-15 from the free throw line. It was easily one of the poorest free throw performances of his career, and he is known for his free throw struggles. One thing he is also known for his his work ethic. So of course, after the game, Giannis was out on the court practicing his free throws. Apparently, some stadium staff did not appreciate that and tried to take down the hoop Giannis was shooting on. His reaction was, well, what many might have expected:

Giannis Had a Frustrating Night
Obviously, Giannis is very frustrated. He has every right to be. His free throw shooting, in part, led to the Bucks’ fourth loss of the season. He also was the recipient of a not-so-subtle elbow to the ribs by 76ers star Joel Embiid.

Interesting that Emiid flopped to the ground after knocking the wind out of Giannis’ sails. Emiid was hit with a flagrant one, a call that the obviously biased ESPN crew was “good with.”
Giannis Has a History with Philadelphia
Now, I have no knowledge as to why the stadium staff was interrupting Giannis’ free throw practice. Maybe they were just trying to do their jobs. It is interesting to note, though, that Giannis has been public enemy number one in Philadelphia ever since this incident:

To be certain, this latest run in with the Philadelphia stadium staff will only fuel their ire for the Bucks’ superstar.
