The Milwaukee Brewers dropped their final game of their series against the Washington Nationals by a score of 8-2. Unfortunately, the Brewers lost more than the game. They will be without starting pitcher Freddy Peralta for a least a couple of weeks. After struggling through three innings, Peralta was pulled with shoulder tightness. The injury is sending him to the IL. He will have a MRI in Milwaukee this week. Peralta addressed the issue with reporters after the game.

A Tough Outing For Peralta and Suter
Freddy Peralta ended his day with a line of three innings pitched, five earned runs allowed, and two strikeouts. He walked one batter and allowed six hits. After he was taken out of the game, Brent Suter came in and did not fair much better. Suter went two innings, allowing three runs on five hits. He struck out two.
Luis Perdomo and Hoby Milner Pitched Well
After the Brewers were down 8-0, they turned to Luis Perdomo and Hoby Milner for the rest of the game. Perdomo pitched three innings of shutout ball. He allowed three hits in that span. Milner pitched the ninth and struck out two while not allowing a single base runner.
Few Bright Spots on Offense
The Milwaukee Brewers did muster eight hits on the day, but the only extra base hit was a Tyrone Taylor home run in fifth inning.

This was Taylor’s second home run of the series and the third of the season. After going 2-4 today, Taylor is hitting .228/.276/.402 with the three home runs and 12 RBI.
Andrew McCutchen added a RBI on a fielder’s choice with the bases loaded in fifth.
McCutchen, Kolten Wong, Rowdy Tellez, Hunter Renfroe, Jace Peterson, and Mike Brosseau all collected hits for Milwaukee. Both Christian Yelich and Omar Narvaez were 0-4.
What Will Milwaukee Do Without Peralta?
After the game, Craig Counsell said that the Brewers will go with a five-man rotation for the time being. This means that Aaron Ashby will be making more starts for now. No corresponding roster move has been announced as of yet.
Up Next
The Brewers will fly west to start an 11-game road trip. They will start a three game series with the San Diego Padres tomorrow. Adrian Houser will take the mound for Milwaukee against Nick Martinez. Martinez is 2-2 with a 3.89 ERA this season.
After three games in San Diego, the Brewers will visit St. Louis for four games and the Chicago Cubs for four more.
