No more game 163 tiebreakers in the MLB. The MLB and MLBPA have agreed to remove it and instead determine all playoff spots through an NFL-type tiebreaker. This means divisional and conference records will come into play at the end of the season for teams who finish with the same record. These tiebreaker games have to be canceled to ensure Wild Card games start on time. Two days after the end of the regular season the is when those series are supposed to start. This means that the last Game 163 that the Brewers have ever played resulted in this:

Will we ever see another Game 163?
As of right now, no. There will be no Game 163 in the foreseeable future unless the MLB and MLBPA reconvene on this topic during the 2022-23 off-season. For now we can reminisce on the greatest Game 163 in Franchise History, when we took down the Chicago Cubs. #FlyTheL
