It is not hard for Green Bay Packers players to endear themselves to the fanbase. Packers’ fans are known for their undying loyalty to their favorite players. However, on some rare occasions, there comes a player who not only is adopted by the fans, but also adopts the state of Wisconsin himself. AJ Dillon is one of those players. Widely known around the state as the Mayor of Door County, Dillon has made himself as much a part of Wisconsin as the Door County eateries he promotes on social media.

On Monday, Dillon shared a video of himself stopping a commercial shoot so that he could surprise some fans on a stadium tour at Lambeau Field.

Last season, AJ Dillon led the Green Bay Packers with 803 rushing yards. He added 313 receiving yards, giving him 1,116 all-purpose yards and seven total touchdowns.

Looking Ahead to 2022 for AJ Dillon
With Davante Adams now playing for the Las Vegas Raiders, there is widespread speculation that AJ Dillon and Aaron Jones will both be used more often in the Packers’ offense. Last year, the duo were the only pair of backfield teammates to eclipse 1,000 all-purpose yards apiece.

To be certain, the Packers have a real strength at the running back position. Dillon’s bruising running style is a perfect compliment to the slashing style of Aaron Jones. With more a focus on them this season, both backs are likely in for major seasons in 2022.
