The Green Bay Packers have lost some key contributors this season. Two of their former players, Za’Darius Smith and Chandon Sullivan, have signed with the Minnesota Vikings. Also with the Vikings are former Packers coaches Mike Pettine and Mike Smith. The presence of these former Packers on their team has made Vikings fans a bit over-confident in their team. Aaron Jones, the Packers Pro Bowl running back, took to Twitter to offer them some advice:
Aaron Jones owns the Vikings lmao.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Jones has brought Vikings fans to tears, as Eli Berkovits of Game on Wisconsin reminded everyone:
Throwback to this legendary NFC North clinching TD run by Aaron Jones.
His vision and balance is mind-blowing. pic.twitter.com/i2C4A0c5xr

Packers Players as Vikings
Za’ Darius Smith and Chandon Sullivan are the 17th and 18th former Packers to sign with the Minnesota Vikings. As I pointed out earlier this week, that switch has not worked out for anyone except MAYBE a kicker.
Why the Vikings and Their Fans?
The Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions both have former Packers players on their teams. Jamaal Williams and Tim Boyle signed with the Lions last season. This offseason, Lucas Patrick and Equanimeous St. Brown signed with the Bears. Patrick even tried to reignite some fire in the Bears/Packers rivalry with some statements he made to the media following his signing.
However, what it comes down to is this from JJ Lahey:
The #Vikings have only ever created 2 graphics for free agent visits and haven't announced any other free agent visits on Twitter since April 2019. pic.twitter.com/eVdsriNTfK
— J.J. Lahey 🧀 Packers Talk (@JJLahey) March 25, 2022
The Vikings have not made graphics for any other free agent visits. The little brother syndrome they seem to have towards the Packers is real.
Vikings fans are responding to the viral video with the Packers’ record against the Vikings since Jones was drafted by Green Bay: 4-5-1. Bold words, considering the Packers have won the NFC North three years in a row, and the Vikings last won the division when Jones was a rookie.
