Aaron Rodgers has been relatively healthy throughout his 18 year NFL career. A concussion, a few broken collar bones, a torn MCL (that he played through), and catching COVID-19 seem to be what has highlighted his injuries. Speaking of broken collar bones, one of Rodgers’ came against an Anthony Barr hit in Minnesota. In 2017 Anthony Barr finished through a play that resulted in landing on Aaron Rodgers and breaking his collar bone. It has since been a celebrated play for Vikings (and their fans). That includes their official social media account.
Minnesota Vikings Celebrate Rodgers’ Injury During Anthony Barr Tribute:
Don’t put anything past the Minnesota Vikings and their employees. The decades of failure has turned their hate for a winning franchise into salt. That was on full display todaty:
For everything you did in Minnesota on and off the field, thank you @anthonybarr! pic.twitter.com/TJOETPffru

Just 10 seconds into their “Thank you Anthony Barr” tribute video they show a slow motion. That hit was specifically the one that injured Aaron Rodgers. Fans took notice, on both sides. Here are some Vikings fans happy to see that hit in the video:
Goated for using this in the video! Thank you barr gonna miss you💜 pic.twitter.com/tlK1eFC4GV

Put him in the ring of honor just for the hit on Rodgers

However Packers fans had just as much to say about the video clip:
I see you included your proudest franchise moment in this. Pathetic franchise. Biggest bunch of losers in football.

Congrats on re-living an opponent injury for the millionth time. Your sad little franchise truly peaked that day. pic.twitter.com/ClJeyltGrm

Even ESPN NFL Analyst took notice:
In a 59-second tribute for a guy who had plenty of highlight plays (495 tackles, 17.5 sacks, five interceptions, eight forced fumbles in 98 games) over eight years, you include the clip of his collarbone-breaking hit on Aaron Rodgers after the ball has been thrown … why? https://t.co/S4i3mrrrFz

For any NFL organization to make it a point to celebrate THAT play (they knew what they were doing) shows true colors. Green Bay Packers fans (widely) hate but RESPECT the Chicago Bears. The rivalry. The respect. The Championships. The Hall of Famers. However, there is very little to respect about the Minnesota Vikings as a franchise. This is yet another example as why.
