We may be just a few weeks away from the regular season, but there are still free agents out there who are looking for a job. That includes wide receiver, which has been a point of emphasis for the Packers all off-season. With the departure of Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, the Packers signed Sammy Watkins. On top of that they took three wide receivers in the 2022 draft. Still, there has been much speculation about Green Bay bringing in another veteran. Just a few days ago a certain veteran wide receiver made it known he wanted to play in Green Bay. Today he doubled down on that request.
Kenny Stills Wants To Play With Aaron Rodgers:
Flood @AaronRodgers12 mentions 😂 https://t.co/3DMpn9Qa6i
— Kenny Stills (@KSTiLLS) August 22, 2022
“Flood Aaron Rodgers’ mentions” was Kenny Stills’ response to being asked if he wants to come to the Packers. His previous tweet was more cryptic, this one was blunt. Stills would love a chance to play in Green Bay with one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
What would Stills bring to Green Bay?
Kenny Stills has over 300 receptions, 4,900 yards receiving, and 38 receiving touchdowns in his career. His best stretch came from 2016 to 2019. During those years he averaged 50 receptions, 761 yards receiving, and seven touchdowns per season. However, that production severely dropped off in 2020 and 2021 where he didn’t even average 200 yards per season.
A signing like this would be a low risk high reward. Given recent years, Stills would likely come in on a minimum type of deal. If Green Bay sees a need to add more veteran depth to their wide receiving group, Kenny Stills has made it clear he wants that shot. Twice now.

GB is my team, but my favorite all time player is Steve Smith. I always wanted him to play for us.
