The Green Bay Packers are going to attempt to get back on the winning side of things when they take on the Chicago Bears on Sunday afternoon. Both teams have had disappointing seasons, with the Packers standing at 4-8 while the Bears are 3-9. Additionally, both teams have been decimated with injuries all season. The Packers have already lost Rashan Gary for the season, and many other players have missed multiple games to IR stints. So too, the Bears have already lost former Packers center Lucas Patrick to injury. In addition, they have already ruled out two of their star players out for Sunday’s game against the Packers.

The Bears Will Be without Darnell Mooney and Eddie Jackson
Matt Schneidman, who covers the Packers for The Athletic, retweeted news that Chicago Bears safety Eddie Jackson is considered out indefinitely with a foot injury. He also included news that wide receiver Darnell Mooney will be out for the Bears as well.
Jackson and Darnell Mooney both out Sunday vs. Green Bay.
Packers gonna really have to step their game up if they want a top-five pick. https://t.co/njIHr8IU7a

It seems as if the Packers will be more healthy than their opponent, for once. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is expected to play even though he has a broken thumb and a rib injury that he suffered on Sunday night.

The absence of Jackson will definitely benefit the Packers’ passing game. Christian Watson has caught at least one touchdown in three consecutive games and leads all rookie wide receivers in touchdowns. The Bears defense, which has struggled against the Packers in recent seasons, will be hard-pressed to stop Green Bay’s passing attack even with a banged up Rodgers.
