The Miami Dolphins are on a three-game winning streak and the Green Bay Packers now have the task to put a stop to it and great thing for them, they have the Wisconsin weather to aid them against the visitors’ prolific quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
The Dolphins QB, who recently had a scary concussion issue, is not really fond of playing in cold temperature.
He is 0-7 if it is 45 or lower, 0-4 when the temperature is 40 degrees or lower.
Tagovailoa is trying to change the narrative. He insists that the Lambeau Field’s sub-freezing temperatures do not bother him.
“Yeah, I mean I’m excited to kill narratives, so let’s go. Bring it on,” Tagovailoa said.
Packers should be more concerned of their own squad
Cold weather or not, Green Bay for sure prepared for the 2023 Pro Bowl winner.
What concerns the team right now is their injury bay as three starters are confirmed out against the Dolphins.
Cornerback Jaire Alexander, receiver Romeo Doubs, and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper won’t be able to play due to various injuries. The team activated center Josh Myers (pectoral) and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie (ankle) who were not made available by coach Matt LaFleur in recent games.
Alexander has now missed five games this season. Coming in for his stead are Keisean Nixon, Carrington Valentine, and Eric Stokes.
Defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley is concerned with the Dolphins offense who he described as among the fastest in the league.
“They’re definitely the fastest group that we’ve seen so far on tape. We’ve got to do it in a variety of different ways – different coverages, different ways to try to slow them down.”
