The NBA All-Star weekend festivities are almost here. One player who will not be participating in the 2025 NBA All-Star Game this season is Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Antetokounmpo is dealing with a calf injury and he will not be coming back until after the all-star break. He has missed some games over the last few days because of the injury. The Bucks have a 28-23 record and are the fifth seed this season in the Eastern Conference.
Atlanta Hawks Guard Trae Young Will Replace Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo In the NBA All-Star Game

On Monday morning, Chris Haynes reported on his Twitter page by saying:
“Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young will be named an Eastern Conference All-Star reserve to replace Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf).”
Trae Young this season with the Atlanta Hawks is averaging 23.5 PPG, 3.2 RPG, 11.4 APG, and shooting 40.9% percent from the field. Young has been one of the better guards in the league this season. He will finally get a chance to prove himself on the big stage.

Some thought that LaMelo Ball should have replaced Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo in the All-Star Game. Ball is averaging 28.0 PPG, 5.2 RPG, and 7.6 APG, along with shooting 41.6% percent from the field. His numbers are better than Trae Young. It is understandable why NBA fans wanted Ball in over Young to replace Antetokounmpo.
