Packers Fans were not happy Sunday evening
The Green Bay Packers had a rough start to their 2022 season. On Sunday, the Packers were outclassed at every phase against the Minnesota Vikings. The team struggled on defense to contain Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson. On offense, the Packers couldn’t get a wide receiver to catch a ball to save their life. Packers fans are pretty upset and taking to social media to vent their frustrations.
There’s cause for cautious concern for the Packers. At least on offense. But the Packers have been here before. The Packers scored three points in their opener last season and 10 points in their first game in 2019. They should be able to figure out soon how to get some points and some wins. Next week, the Packers open as a -9.5 favorite to beat the Chicago Bears.
Sunday’s performance didn’t stop upset Packers fans from storming social media to spout their anger over the Packers’ embarrassment at the hands of their divisional rival. Crazy takes from wanting to trade Aaron Rodgers and start Jordan Love to wanting to fire head coach Mike LaFleur were all to be found on Twitter. Here are some of the funniest takes on Twitter following a not-so-funny loss to the Vikings:
Start Jordan Love I’ve seen enough

Defense sucks Rodgers sucks. Injuries or not this is ridiculous 🙄

Hot take. Fields looked better than Rodgers yesterday. Bears recievers looked better than packer recievers, bears defense looked better than our defense. Guys, I think we're gonna lose to the bears this year. 😢

Dear Coach LeFluer,
PLEASE start Jordan Love in the second half. Our team, again, was not ready to play week 1. There is no downside here and at least Jordan has experience throwing to 9 and 87.

I'd rather have Jordan Love start and pay $50 million to some weapons.

Matt Lafleur has to be some kinda idiot. Wasting prime years of Aaron Jones’ career. Man is good as any pass catching RB in the game but isn’t used nearly enough.
Shits maddening #aaronjones— Leonard Joseph (@Leonard36229680) September 12, 2022
Everyone needs to calm down. It was only Week One.
