Here’s when Marquette and Vermont will tip-off in the 2023 NCAA Tournament on Friday in Columbus
The Marquette Golden Eagles will open up the 2023 NCAA Tournament as a No. 2 seed in the East Region after winning the Big East Tournament over the weekend. They will face a No. 15 seed in Vermont, a good team out of the America East Conference as the Catamounts look to pull off a stunning upset.
As Shaka Smart has his team playing their best basketball of the season, the Golden Eagles have a shot to come out of that East region that also features Purdue, Kansas State, Tennessee, Duke and Kentucky.
First things first, the Golden Eagles have to take care of business against the Catamounts.
The two teams will tip-off on the second day of the tournament at 1:45 p.m. CT on Friday afternoon in Columbus, Ohio at Nationwide Arena. They will be the second game of the day in Columbus as Michigan State and USC will square off in the earlier session.

This is a great location for the Golden Eagles as Columbus isn’t too far from Milwaukee, allowing Marquette fans to make the trip down. And it really could turn into an advantage for the Golden Eagles if they can get a big crowd there.
The winner will face off against either USC or Michigan State.
