The Milwaukee Bucks improved to 18-6 on the season by snapping the Sacramento Kingsโ three-game winning streak, dropping them to 13-10. While the Bucks were in control for most of the night, it was a hard-fought game with impressive offensive performances from both sides. Both teams shot around 47% from the floor overall. What it came down to was fantastic ball movement and rebounding by the Bucks. Milwaukee had 50 rebounds to Sacramentoโs 40, and 32 assists to their 19.

Three Studs
Giannis Antetokounmpo
Giannis Antetokounmpo tied Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the second-longest streak of 30-point games in franchise history. The Greek Freak poured in 35 points for his eighth-straight 30+ point game, going 12-20 from the field and an impressive 9-10 from the free throw line. Giannis also added six rebounds, seven assists, and a steal.

Oh, and Giannis has a way to go until he catches Kareemโs record for the longest streak of 30+ point games in a season. Kareem had a separate run of 16 such games during his time with the Bucks.
Jrue Holiday
Aside from Giannis, Jrue Holiday has to be considered the best all-around player on the Bucks. He can do it all, and his full set of skills were on display against the Kings. He scored 31 points on 12-23 shooting (2-4 from three) and was 5-6 from the line. Holiday added five rebound and six assists while guarding just about every Kings player on the court.

Brook Lopez
It is a good thing, at least for the Kings, that they were able to hit so many mid-range shots. Brook Lopez, as usual, had the lane pretty much shut down for most of the time that he was in. Lopez scored 17 points on 6-15 shooting (2-7 from three) and was 3-3 from the line. He added nine rebounds, three assists, and a block.

Three Duds
In a game like this, it is hard to identify dud performances. Sure, George Hill and Pat Connaughton shot poorly from the floor, but each contributed in vital ways. Connaughton had six rebounds to go with his six points. Hill had three assists in limited playing time. Jevon Carter did not shoot very well either, but had five rebounds and four assists while playing incredible defense.
No real duds tonight.
