The Milwaukee Brewers have an exciting group of minor league players knocking on the doorstep to seeing major league playing time. Garrett Mitchell, Ethan Small, and Esteury Ruiz all debuted for the Crew in 2022. Sal Frelick, Joey Wiemer, Brice Turang, and Mario Feliciano are prospects we may see next. That being said, new leader of baseball operations Matt Arnold has some tough decisions to make this off season. 18 players are arbitration eligible. It is highly unlikely that all are tendered contracts for the 2023 season. Arnold may elect to promote prospects or deal some away in order to acquire new players. If he elects to trade away prospects, Jackson Chourio currently has the most trade value among all minor league players.
This is according to a website titled Baseball Trade Values. They promote their website as providing updated trade values in order to make realistic trade proposals.

Jackson Chourio in 2022
Chourio torched hitters at the Low-A and High-A levels in 2022. In 93 games between the two levels he hit .300/.354/.562 with 20 home runs, 71 RBI, and 14 stolen bases. He was essentially not challenged enough by his competition and at the end of the year he was promoted to Double-A where he appeared in six games.
At 18 years old, there is a lot to like about Chourio. Not only is he rising through the minor league ranks quickly, but on multiple occasions he has been compared to Ronald Acuna Jr. Even at this accelerated pace, the young phenom is still a few years away from the major leagues.
The biggest question is would the Brewers even consider trading him? Yes, his trade value is immensely high, but if Matt Arnold was ever going to reveal an untouchable prospect list, Chourio may be on it. If he were to get traded the return would have to be enormous.
