The Chicago Bears will be facing the Green Bay Packers in the final week of the 2024 NFL regular season. Chicago started the season 4-2 and they have lost 10 straight games. As for the Packers, they are 11-5 this season and it will be interesting to see whether or not they will play the starters.
The Bears have fired Matt Eberflus and Shane Waldron throughout the 2024 NFL season. Some Chicago fans think that general manager Ryan Poles should also be fired.
Chicago Bears General Manager Ryan Poles Will Be the Lead Guy In Charge To Find a New Head Coach In Latest Report Ahead Of Green Bay Packers Matchup
For anyone who thought that Poles was going to be fired at the end of the 2024 season, they better think again. According to Albert Breer of the NFL Network, Chicago Bears ownership (McCaskeys) wants Ryan Poles to hire the next head coach. Breer also added:
“GM Ryan Poles is set up to run point on the search, and I’m told it’s because that’s the way ownership wants it.”
This is crazy that the Bears are going to want to run their next head coaching search that way. Because Ryan Poles will be staying as the general manager for Chicago, it could cause some coaching candidates to turn the Bears head coaching job down.

There will be a lot of Bears fans who will be upset if they don’t land Ben Johnson as the next head coach because of Poles. They may have to settle for other options for head coach. Also, the Green Bay Packers won’t have to worry about a coaching change and they will be preparing for the playoffs after this weekend.
