The Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions game on Sunday was huge because first place in the NFC North was on the line. For the third straight season, Detroit beat Green Bay in Lambeau Field by a final score of 24-14.
With the win, the Packers dropped to 6-3 on the season and the Lions improved to 7-1. Detroit is in sole possession of first place in the NFC North. They are on track to win the division for the second consecutive season.
Green Bay Packers Fans React To The Loss Against the Detroit Lions
A lot of Packers fans were not happy with the way the team performed against the Lions. They are now 0-2 in NFC Divisional play this season. Green Bay will have some things to clean up during the bye week. They are in a much better spot now than they were a season ago.
Here is what the Packers fanbase had to say about the loss against the Lions:
Thank goodness the bye week is up next

Send Nixon and a bag of cashews to Cleveland for any CB on that team

Good game. Good effort. It just wasn’t our day. They’ll be other opportunities. You’ll see this team again. Recharge and regroup during the Bye and then handle business. All good.

pick six and a missed field goal. And we lost by 10. Infuriating

Too good the Lions are this year. Seems their Championship to lose this year

The Detroit Lions feel like they are the best team in the NFC and might even be the best team in the NFL over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Green Bay Packers can no doubt turn it around after the bye week when they face the Chicago Bears.
NFL Trade Deadline
On Tuesday, it will be the NFL Trade Deadline. It will be interesting to see if Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst will make a move or not. They could also trade away some players to relieve some cap space. This could very well be an interesting decision for the franchise.
Last year, the Packers were sellers at the NFL trade deadline. For now, it appears as if they won’t make any moves but it remains to be seen.
