Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks fell 120-113 to the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center on Wednesday as Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 31 points, six rebounds, and seven assists in 34 minutes.
Curry finished the game with a step-back jumper in isolation to extend the lead to nine with 26.1 seconds left and capping it with his signature ‘Night Night’ celebration.

The Warriors star went 12 for 21 from the field, including three three-pointers. He hit his first long-range shot at the 4:44 mark of the opening quarter and had totaled 14 points by halftime.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 34 points, including nine in the fourth quarter, doing everything he could to keep the Bucks within reach. He contributed across the board with 10 rebounds and five assists but struggled from the free-throw line, making just two of seven attempts.
De’Anthony Melton contributed 22 points off the bench for the Warriors, Jimmy Butler added 21 points and five rebounds, and Al Horford recorded eight points, 10 rebounds, and six assists in one of his most complete games since joining the Warriors.
Things got chippy between the Bucks and the Warriors early

Tensions flared midway through the second quarter as Draymond Green and Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo collided during a physical stretch. Antetokounmpo was called for a foul after initiating contact with Green well beyond the three-point line.
Later, Green landed a hard elbow to Antetokounmpo’s face on a layup attempt, sending him crashing to the baseline, yet officials ruled it a common foul and did not review it for a flagrant. Bucks head coach Doc Rivers expressed his dismay after the game, questioning how the sequence went unreviewed.
Green chipped in 14 points and seven assists holding on to secure the win after building a 17-point lead in the third quarter.

Golden State kicked off an eight-game home stretch on Wednesday, with just one back-to-back on the slate. Looking to build momentum, they got off to a strong start by defeating the Milwaukee Bucks to open this stretch.
The teams ended the season series tied, with Milwaukee claiming a 120-110 home win on October 30.
The Bucks continue their road trip when they face the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.
