The Green Bay Packers could be looking to make moves to improve the roster before the trade deadline or they could be trading away pieces. At 6-2 this season, general manager Brian Gutekunst will have some interesting decisions to make before the Tuesday, November 5 trade deadline.
It doesn’t feel like Green Bay has many holes on the roster, but trading for another cornerback wouldn’t hurt this football team. The Green Bay Packers are looking to make a run at the Super Bowl this season.
Green Bay Packers Have Received Calls From Other Teams About the Wide Receivers
According to NFL Talk Sports on Twitter, they dropped an interesting report about the Packers before the NFL trade deadline. It said:
“Update: The Packers have received calls from teams seeing if they’d be willing to trade one of their wide receivers, but GB has shown no interest in doing so, per league source.”
There has been some rumblings about Romeo Doubs or Christian Watson being traded. Some teams could also be interested in Dontayvion Wicks and Bo Melton, but it feels like the only one who would be off limits in any trade talks is Jayden Reed.
Fans React To This Report
Remember when people were saying we have no WR1 and our WR room is garbage?
They’re probably fans of the same teams now calling for a trade.

The Green Bay Packers have one of the best wide receiver rooms in the NFL. Even though they may not have a true number one on the team, they can all contribute for the Packers week in and week out.
At some point, Green Bay may have to move on from one of the five wide receivers. For this season, why should they mess up with the chemistry? The Packers depth is at the wide receiver position helps quarterback Jordan Love and it also keeps defenses guessing.
