Amari Rodgers has been used in many bubble or wide receiver screens that allow him to use his athleticism in space. He is also lining up in more traditional wide receiver positions and making big catches.

All of these looks add little wrinkles to the offense. The ball may not go to Amari Rodgers every time. But if he is a threat, it could open things up for other players. Tonight showed us how the Packers are going to use Amari Rodgers. He will be a gadget player that is a threat to get the ball on any play. I do not expect Amari to get huge numbers or get a lion-share of the opportunities on offense. However, he will make some splash plays that cause opposing defenses to have to game plan for him.
The Packers are going to have to get creative this season. A player like Amari Rodgers is the perfect player for the Packers to show their creativity. This offense will evolve over the season depending on what works and what doesn’t. Amari Rodgers performance will be something to watch this season.
