Rewind to August 2022, the Seattle Seahawks just traded one of, if not, the biggest star in franchise history in Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos. After announcing veteran journeyman, Geno Smith as the new starting QB, it appeared as if the Seahawks were set for a long, drawn out rebuild.
Except nobody told Geno Smith and co. as the club is currently preparing for their week 18 showdown against the Los Angeles Rams and with a win, the Seahawks will be participating in the NFL playoffs, in about 10 days.

When it comes to the statistical breakdown of this one, ESPN’s Stat Index heavily favors the Seahawks to knock off the Rams and extend their season into Sunday night, where Seahawks players, staff, and fans alike will be planted in front of their TV’s, computers, phones, and everything else to keep up to date with how the game between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions shakes out on Sunday Night Football in Lambeau Field.

This one *SHOULD* be relatively straightforward…however, nothing seemingly is in the NFL when it comes to pure chaos on the final weekend of the season. With how the season has gone up to this point for the defending champion, Los Angeles Rams, coupled with their massive log of injuries, the Seahawks are the better team both on the field and on even on paper.
Unless the Seahawks lose outright on Sunday afternoon, their season will still be alive come Sunday night when the Packers host the Lions. If Seattle is victorious against Los Angeles, the Lions’ season will be over even before their aforementioned game against Green Bay kicks off, however, Dan Campbell’s squad in Detroit will still be hungry to bring the Packers down with them, providing the Seahawks win on Sunday afternoon.
