The Green Bay Packers were eliminated by the Chicago Bears from the NFL playoffs in the NFC Wild Card Round, but if head coach Matt LaFleur can score a piece of revenge against Ben Johnson and company this week.
According to Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay, who has strong ties with LaFleur, the Packers mentor has been watching tapes together with LaFleur in preparation for LA’s upcoming NFC Divisional Round matchup against the Bears.
“What would you guess? No, you know what, we watch the tape, we do our work, and Matt is a very close friend of mine,” McVay told reporters in a recent press conference.

The Rams and the Bears did not meet in the regular season, but McVay can get plenty of useful information about facing Chicago by picking LaFleur’s brain. The Packers and the Bears faced off three times in the 2025 campaign, with Green Bay losing twice, including in the aforementioned wild-card round showdown.
