Ryan Clark has been very vocal about his opinions when it comes to the Packers in the past and nothing has changed. He recently appeared on First Take with Stephen A. Smith and discussed the Packers after the departure of Davante Adams. He doesn’t think Matt LaFleur has what it takes to win without Adams.
Did the Packers cost themselves a chance at a Super Bowl by trading Davante Adams? @Realrclark25 thinks so

Packers Without Davante Adams

To keep things simple, the Packers are 7-0 without Davante Adams under Matt LaFleur. Clark’s claim on Rodgers underperforming without Adams is easily proven false. Matt LaFleur’s system is plenty capable of creating opportunities for every weapon. However, when he has a player like Davante Adams he’s obviously going to want the ball in his hands as much as possible.
Is Matt LaFleur Capable?
Ryan Clark goes on to say he doesn’t know if “[Matt LaFleur] is good enough” to create and produce so the Packers can score in critical moments. Last season the Packers traveled to Arizona to face the undefeated Cardinals on a short week. This was a game where they did not have Davante Adams or Marquez Valdes- Scantling. The Packers also lost Robert Tonyan mid-game. Despite all the injuries and a short week, the Packers won 24-21 on the road versus an undefeated Cardinals team. Rodgers threw for less than 200 yards, but he had two touchdowns and a passer rating of 90.4. The team ran for 151 yards and also picked up a touchdown on the ground.
This is just one of the seven games LaFleur has coached without Adams and he’s won all seven. The Packers will look to add an elite wide receiver in the draft and Matt LaFleur will have another weapon at his disposal. Not to mention, he still has the reigning back-to-back MVP leading the offense.
