Aaron Rodgers is back in Green Bay and expected to start for the Packers on Sunday, Tom Pelissero reports.

#Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is back in the building and set to be activated from the COVID list and will start Sunday against the #Seahawks, per sources.

    Aaron Rodgers vs. Russell Wilson

The news of Rodgers’ expected return sets up a highly anticipated matchup between Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson.

Seattle activated Wilson from IR yesterday and he will start for Seattle on Sunday. Rodgers vs. Wilson will make the game a lot more interesting of a watch for football fans. Rodgers and WIlson have had some incredible duels in the past, some of which have not been happy memories for Packers fans. The two may produce another classic tomorrow, hopefully with a positive result for Packers fans this time around.

    The Return of Rodgers

The Packers dearly missed the reigning NFL MVP last week against Kansas City.

The Packers offense struggled to get a lot going for a majority of the game. There was more wrong than only the offense, however. That is not to say that the Packers still would have lost the game with Rodgers, though. They very likely would have won with their star quarterback at the helm. The timing was off between Jordan Love and the Packers top receivers for most of the game.

Rodgers’ return should be good news for Green Bay. He has been the starting quarterback for Green Bay all season, so the timing should be better than what was seen by the Packers offense last week. The Packers offense is the most healthy that it has been in a long time, and the return of Rodgers should only help the team be that much better in this week’s game.
