Rob Gronkowski Absolutely Rips Aaron Rodgers Over Recent Comments

Aaron Rodgers and Rob Gronkowski are two of the most respected players in NFL history.  That doesn’t mean they will always see eye to eye.  Rob Gronkowski had some stuff to say in relation to Rodgers’ recent comments on the Pat McAfee Show.  Specifically, Rodgers was criticized by Gronkowski for his “I could win MVP in the right situation again” comment.

Rob Gronkowski Shares His Thoughts On Aaron Rodgers’ MVP Comment

Rodgers’ former teammate AJ Hawk asked him how he was doing physically and if he felt he could still play at a high level. Rodgers responded, “I could win MVP again, in the right situation. Right situation. Is that in Green Bay or somewhere else? I am not sure.”  When Gronkowski heard this comment, he responded with some harsh comments during a Wednesday appearance on FanDuel TV’s Up & Adams:

“I’m totally fine with everything he said, except one major part,” Gronkowski said. “And that’s the ‘MVP again.’ It’s just that I think ‘I could win another Super Bowl,’ and that would have been totally fine. Like, bro, like why are you thinking MVP? Like don’t you want Super Bowls? Like Super Bowls are I think five times greater than an MVP award.

“Like we all know that you won the MVP a few times now, but like, you know, everyone would know even more how many more Super Bowls you won than MVPs. So that’s why I’m just a little bit confused about that quote he just had. I mean, it should be Super Bowls. You should never be thinking the MVP when Super Bowls are twice . . . twice . . . better.”

Does Rob Gronkowski Have A Point?

I think every single Packers fan would take another Super Bowl win over another Aaron Rodgers MVP.  Especially after the last 12 years of heartbreak.  There is no doubt that Aaron Rodgers wants to win a Super Bowl, that should never be questioned.  However, when he makes a comment like this, other players and fans are going to thoroughly dissect it.  Whether or not Aaron Rodgers comes back to the Green Bay Packers, playing at a high level will be high on his priority list.

A.J Hawk simply asked him if how he physically felt and if he could play at a high level. His answer is gold. He feels he can still compete with the best and take another MVP award. So if his 52 other teammates and coaches are competing at high levels then talk about superbowl.
How much criticism would AR get if he answered Hawks question with yea I could win another superbowl?
-Superbowl bowl is won with a full team effort
-MVP is a single players reward on how well he carried and played better than individuals
