The Wisconsin Badgers could be adding yet another weapon to their team. This time it may come in the form of a 2024 four-star running back. The Badgers are reportedly hosting Jordan Marshall, a running back out of Ohio.
Wisconsin Badgers Are Hosting Four-Star Running Back Jordan Marshall
According to Mike Murphy on Twitter:
Wisconsin is hosting Jordan Marshall, Ohio’s Gatorade Player of the Year, later this month per @BigMoBarrett– Marshall is a 4 RB (2024) and would be a massive addition to RBU.
Jordan Marshall is one of the most coveted high school football players in the Class of 2024. The junior running back Jordan Marshall was named the Ohio Gatorade Player of the Year on January 6th, 2023.
“Jordan (Marshall) is an outstanding player. He is physical and fast, very competitive and he’s an all-around back. His abilities meant everything to the Moeller offense,” Elder head coach Doug Ramsey said in a press release.
Marshall is ranked as a four-star recruit, per 247Sports, which lists the 5-foot-11, 200-pound running back as the No. 2 overall recruit in Ohio for the Class of 2024. He is also ranked as the No. 8 running back in the nation. Marshall has an offers from nearly 30 schools, including Cincinnati, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio State, Purdue, Tennessee, Wisconsin, West Virginia and Stanford.
Marshall wouldn’t be the only 2024 four-star commitment for the Badgers. Wisconsin also landed 2024 QB Mabrey Mettauer. Mettauer hails from The Woodlands, TX. According to 247 Sports, Mettauer is a three-star QB, but their composite ranking has him as a four-star QB. At 6’5 and 215 pounds, this is a big kid the Badgers are getting under center. The future is extremely optimistic in Madison.
