Brandin Cooks has been at the center of trade talks all off-season. The wide receiver has had over 1,000 yards in 6 of his last 7 seasons. The most recent two with Houston. As Houston enters a full rebuild after trading away star QB Desean Watson, Cooks is another prime candidate for trade. The Packers are intensely searching for more depth at wide receiver.

According to Texans Daily on FanNation, Houston is seeking a second round draft pick in return for Cooks. With Green Bay having four picks in the top 60, and two second round picks it would make sense for the Packers to pull the trigger. There are few wide receivers (maybe none) in the 2022 NFL draft who would make the immediate impact on Green Bay’s offense that Cooks would. After seeing Devante Parker get traded from Miami to New England for a third round pick, Packers fans are on edge for the front office to make a move. Cooks would be an immediate upgrade and bring down field presence to an offense that needs it.
With Brandin Cooks entering the final year of his contract, his future with the #Texans appears uncertain.
In my opinion, Cooks is an intriguing trade target for the #Patriots.
